Every now and again, I like to blog about something outside of the adult industry. A friend of mine, filmmaker Dave Gaz, made a movie where he asks people, “What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?” As a Nichiren Buddhist, I was fascinated by the question and his documentary “Good Virus, Kindness Is Contagious”. He has a book that goes with the movie and I edited it for him for free.
He’s gotten a lot of press for the documentary, but he needs cash to distribute it and get in all the important film festivals. He started a campaign on Kickstarter to help with this and he has less than 2 weeks to go. Do something nice, and pledge some money towards this amazing project! You can pledge even just $1, or if you’re feeling extremely generous, go for $2500 or more. Each level of giving gets you an amazing gift, including a copy of the movie, a t-shirt and a producer’s credit on the film. If he doesn’t reach the goal of $15,000, you won’t be charged for your pledge. I’m hoping to reach a new audience (the thousands of people who follow me on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other social media outlets) to give to this extraordinary project.
