The AVN Awards Were Announced And…

We did pretty well this year with a total of 16 nominations!

Karla Lane picked up a nom for BBW Performer of the Year–this is the first year they have had this category and she definitely deserved to be part of history.

Both Nikki Delano and Jenna J Ross got noms for Unsung Starlet of the Year.

Kimber James got a nomination for her gorgeous site, BustyKimberXXX.com, for Best Porn Star Website

Kayla-Jane Danger scored her first AVN nom for Best Solo Girl Website for her eclectic site, MyDollParts.com.

Angelina Valentine got 3 nods: Best Group Sex Scene, Best POV Sex Scene and Best Transsexual Sex Scene.

Newcomer Brooklyn Chase was recognized for her talents with a Best Group Sex Scene nom.

Harry Sparks/Sparks Entertainment received noms for Best Makeup, Best Special Effects and Best DVD Extras.

Forbidden Fruits Films is one to watch and they got AVN noms for Best New Series, Best New Studio, and Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release. And producer/performer Jodi West got a nod for MILF Performer of the Year

We Got Our First XBIZ Nomination!

With five years in, The Rub PR finally got our very first XBIZ Award nomination! We were nominated for Marketing Campaign of the Year for our work on Sparks Entertainment’s “The Vampire Mistress”. Normally, we’re just excited for our clients but we have something to be excited about too!

Now for the clients…

Harry Sparks and Sparks Entertainment garnered an unprecedented 11 nominations for the best-selling, critically acclaimed feature, “The Vampire Mistress”. Both Dani Daniels and LilyLaBeau were nominated for Best Actress – All-Girl Release and Hayden Winters for a Best Supporting Actress. The film also got nominations for Screenplay of the Year, Best Special Effects, Best Editing, Best Music, and All-Girl Release of the Year. Harry Sparks personally got a nomination for Director of the Year – Feature Release, and Sparks and The Rub PR were nominated for Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Nikita Von James picked up 3 noms for Performer Site of the Year, MILF Performer of the Year and Best Scene-Vignette Release for her scene with Erik Everhard and Staci Silverstone for Reality Junkies’ “Couples Seeking Teens 11”.

Mia Lelani scored a huge nom for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Vivid’s “The New Behind the Green Door”.

Angelina Valentine garnered 2 noms for Performer Site of the Year and Best Scene–Vignette Release for her scene with Mick Blue and Danny Mountain in Brazzers’ “Real Wife Stories 15”.

Allison Moore picked up her first XBIZ nom for Best Scene–Vignette Release for her scene with Bill Bailey in Naughty America’s “Housewife 1 on 1 Volume 28”.

Kayla-Jane Danger also got her very first XBIZ nom for Web Star of the Year for her site, MyDollParts.com.

Porn Star DJ Helly Hellfire scored a nom for Crossover Star of the Year.

And, Sexually Evolved scooped up a nom for Retailer of the Year – Boutique.

That makes 21 nominations for our clients, which is pretty impressive. We’re very proud of them and our fingers are crossed that they win BIG! We will find out January 24th, 2014.

COCKtails with Kimber & Allison is a controversial show with topics including sex, politics, current events and much more. Their first two guests were Spicy Latina Nikki Delano and Russian Barbie Nikita Von James. Future guests will not only include adult starlets, but comedians, civilian friends of the hosts and a wide range of people in the adult industry.

Sexually Evolved’s Midnight Lingerie Show

Sexually Evolved, the most unique, upscale and innovative adult store ever to hit Los Angeles, had an exclusive midnight lingerie show featuring XXX Stars Allison Moore, Kimber James, Abby Cross and Nikki Delano, along with Reality TV Personality, Adult Model, and Sexually Evolved President, Emily Aleece, and sexy SE staffer Taylor Daniels. These uber hot ladies modeled provocative, private label designs carried exclusively in the store. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Director/Producer/Adult Star Marcus London and AVN Hall of Famer Rebecca Bardoux, joined him. It was quite a night. Here are a few photos from the event!

Sexually Evolved’s Red Carpet Opening Party

Last week, Sexually Evolved, the most unique, upscale and innovative adult store ever to hit Los Angeles, opened its doors, and they’re already creating a huge buzz. Their red carpet opening party with the cast of “The Kardashians XXX” brought out a ton of adult and mainstream stars that filled the shop to capacity.

A Client Returns & New Clients Added to Roster

September is the beginning of the Awards Season in Adult. The month has already started off with a bang and a bevy of new clients…and one client who returned.

We’re excited to welcome back Nikki Delano. Nikki started her career with us and left for a few months. She’s back and ready to rock with a magazine cover, video game character and an Android app.

We recently added Jennifer Best and Mia Lelani to The Rub PR roster. Both ladies are amazing and have some great movies that are nomination-worthy this awards season.

Get Pure, makers of the Pure app, also signed with us. They will be launching shortly, so stay tuned.

And last, but definitely not least, a new sex shop in Hollywood, Sexually Evolved, signed with us. They’re having a grand opening party this Thursday. The President is Adult Model and Reality Star, Emily Aleece.

Glam-In-Naughty-Land Was a Smashing Success!

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, but The Rub PR has done it again with another stellar event–Glam-In-Naughty-Land had over 300 people show up and 900 people RSVP, but sadly only 200 lucky people made it through the velvet rope.We spied Robin Williams, David Spade and other movers and shakers in Hollywood in attendance.

We got the adult crowd there including Rebecca Bardoux, Allison Moore, Leia Down, Kimber James, Helly Hellfire, Capri Cavanni and many more to attend this awesome evening of burlesque, comedy, a red carpet and goodie bags with the sponsors we garnered including Screaming O, Crystal Delights, Cal Exotics, Hustler, Adam & Eve, Biker Lube, Wet Lube and more. 200 lucky guests left with an even bigger smile on their face, since they were lucky enough to score one!

We have more events coming up including a party for Helly Hellfire’s new single and record label, along with a party to celebrate the relaunch of Kimber James’ official site.
